The colour and shape sensory mats provide rich tactile and visual stimulation to encourage sensory exploration, while training eye-hand coordination and enhancing fine motor skills. Fill the sensory mat with a liquid of your own choice, such as water, gel, shaving cream, glycerine, etc... through the valve and let the children guide the shapes with their hands to complete the game on the 8 double-sided activity cards. The set includes 4 different shapes - round, square, rectangle and triangle. Each shape comes in 6 different colours. The liquid can be changed and the activity set can be reused. The sensory pad is also a weighted pad that can be placed on the child's lap to provide proprioceptive stimulation to help child calm down, relieve anxiety and improve concentration.
